Imagine being able to make data-based decisions for your park or venue 24/7/365. If you had access to guest data from the time the gates open until close… it would change the Marketing’s entire approach. 

Anytime your organization looks to conduct a data research project you can count on it to take three-four months to get from concept to “report-in-hand” and easily approach (and in most cases breach) the six-figure mark… all to receive “dated” information. Not to mention that any number of factors can invalidate the data: weather-related, local issues, construction, etc…

We are able to work with Theme Parks and Venues to generate data gathering technology at the fingertips of their marketing decisions. 

This solution combines digital display wayfinding terminals that not only interact with guests as they interface directly, but also as guests pass by. Sensors allow you to gather basic data about guests and develop heat maps that track traffic trends around the venue over a week, month, day, hour, or minute. It can also interact with a host park app and wifi service as well as serve as an auxiliary POS terminal, among other things.

Most (if not all) parks who have wayfinders on property use them in very limited capacity: as wayfinders with basic guest information: ie- ride wait times, showtimes, park map, etc… and are mostly stand-alone units in the guest storyboard. More often than not, they are monetized as a profit center by ad agencies using local retailers/sponsors. Display monitors are responsive and dynamic… for a season or two- then “dim” out.

Display ads are a great way to monetize and offset cost- but if the above is all these units do, your park or venue is missing out on an opportunity to use this technology as unique marketing tools that generate greater connectivity to all aspects of the park and add to your overall guest experience. Meanwhile, in the background, the units are generating data each second that will place you on the forefront of making data-based decisions… creating for you, a SMARTpark.
