Improving guest experience at a park restaurant is an essential aspect of maintaining guest satisfaction and loyalty. In this blog, I will discuss some useful tips and ideas for improving the guest experience at theme park restaurants.
- Offer a Diverse Menu: Provide a diverse menu with a range of options catering to all dietary needs, preferences, and age groups- but specifically food allergies. Food allergies are an unfortunate reality of lift for many and it is surprising how many food options and locations are off-limits due to these at parks.
- Quick and Efficient Service: Train your staff to provide quick and efficient service, reducing wait times and improving customer satisfaction. Make sure that your supervisors are able to “supervise” and provide guest efficiency over being the “cool” supervisor to staff.
- Maintain a Clean Environment: Keep the restaurant clean and tidy, ensuring that tables are cleared promptly, and the environment is sanitary. This goes back to the blog entry a few days ago, people tend to be gross. It seems that guests attitudes are, “why clean it when someone will clean it for me?” It’s typically not your fault; but it is your problem.
- Offer Entertainment: Provide live music, performances, or other forms of entertainment to keep guests engaged and entertained. Completely dependent on the location.
- Use Technology: Incorporate technology, such as mobile ordering and payment options, to enhance the guest experience and reduce wait times.
- Social Media Engagement: Use hashtags such as #themeparkdining, #foodie, #yum, #familyfun, #entertainment, and #satisfying to engage with your guests and increase your restaurant’s visibility on social media platforms.
